Atendreu pacients de totes les edats amb diferents diagnòstics. Com un metge de família, vostè és el primer a conèixer el pacient i determinar de forma integrada amb la resta de companys, el diagnòstic, la gravetat i si cal derivar a un especialista concret.
Col·laborarà en activitats docents orientades a la formació del personal que conforma els equips de salut. Supervisió i avaluació de personal a càrrec seu (estudiants, metges residents i altre personal). S'ocuparà de promocionar la salut, prevenir les malalties i promoure l'educació sanitària a nivell individual i col·lectiva.
Treballaràs amb la resta de companys del centre d’atenció primària i autoritats en matèria d’atenció domiciliària, llicència per malaltia, desocupació i assistència serveis socials, etc.
